Substitution of Prior Service, Training, or Education
Prior or ongoing service, training, or education may be substituted toward educator certification requirements when all conditions are met.
- The experience is not counted toward internship, clinical teaching, or practicum requirements.
- The experience was provided by an approved EPP or accredited institution of higher education within the last five years.
- The experience directly relates to the certificate being sought.
