Submit your deposit in your application portal to reserve your place in the incoming new student class. Be sure to accept your offer of admission to see the link to submit your deposit.

Admitted students will be packaged for financial aid once we have received your FAFSA. If you aren鈥檛 planning on filing a FAFSA, just let your 51黑料网 Counselor know. You鈥檒l receive a financial aid award notification in the mail and be able to view your aid in your application portal. In the Spring semester, your 51黑料网 Counselor will reach out to walk through your financial aid, but you can always give us a call whenever you鈥檙e ready to talk through it!

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Visit campus on a specially designed event for admitted students like you. Engage with classmates, experience student life, and participate in faculty-led mock classes.

Complete your application for student housing in your application portal after submitting your deposit. Housing applications open February 1, and assignments are released in the summer.

Register for your Student Orientation and Registration Day! These events are designed for you to not only register for your Fall semester classes, but also to become a part of the War Hawk flock. You may submit your enrollment deposit at any time. We recommend that you submit your deposit by May 1st so that you have plenty of time to complete your remaining steps before SOAR.

Submit your deposit in your . You first must accept your offer of admission. Once you do so, you will be prompted to pay by card in your portal!

A link to submit your housing application will be listed in your application portal once you deposit. Housing applications open in early Spring each year.

Housing assignments are released in the summer. You鈥檒l receive an email in your McMurry email inbox with your assignment and roommate.

Yes! If you know you would like to live with another student, you may request to do so on your housing application. Be sure you both request each other when submitting your applications.

Move-in day for new students is announced in the Spring, but is typically the Wednesday before classes start. 聽Welcome Week begins the same day as move-in! Check with your team or organization for specific dates and information for those involved in a fall sport or extracurricular activity with early move-in dates.

Admitted Student Events

Admitted Student Events are designed to give students like you a closer glimpse at what life at McMurry is like. Even if you’ve visited campus before, these events are structured differently to showcase other aspects of campus that daily campus visits and War Hawk Previews don’t include.

Official High School Transcript Policy

In accordance with 34 CFR 668.16(p), McMurry ensures the validity of a student鈥檚 high school completion by requiring official transcripts to be received directly from the student鈥檚 high school (via electronic submission or postal mail) or delivered enclosed in a sealed school envelope. If necessary, McMurry may contact the high school directly to confirm the validity of the documentation provided or may contact the relevant department or agency in the state to ensure the validity of the high school鈥檚 secondary school education status.
