51黑料网 is proud to be recognized as a top-ranked institution for the 25th consecutive year by U.S. News and World Report Best College Guide. McMurry was ranked 13th in the first tier of top ranked institution in the Western Region of Best Regional Colleges.

McMurry was also highly ranked again in several other categories in this year鈥檚 U.S. News report.

The University was recognized in the Best Value category as the number five school in the West region. To determine which colleges and universities offer the best value for students, U.S. News takes into account both academic quality and cost. The higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost, the better the deal. Only schools ranked in or near the top half of their categories are included because U.S. News considers the most significant values to be among colleges that are above average academically.

鈥淎s we advance further into the age of virtual learning, a university鈥檚 value is going to continue to be a critical factor in the decision-making process for students,鈥 said Dr. Sandra Harper, President of McMurry University. 鈥淢cMurry鈥檚 faculty and staff work tirelessly to ensure that we are providing the best quality education possible. We take great pride to see those efforts accomplished in the form of a top rank in this category.鈥

McMurry once again continues to be ranked as one of the best colleges for veterans in its region, coming in at number six.

Finally, McMurry tied for ninth as a top performer in social mobility. By advancing social mobility and not only enrolling but graduating large proportions of disadvantaged students awarded with Pell Grants, McMurry鈥檚 appearance in this category exemplifies its commitment to serving students.

In all categories, the top 20 schools in Tier 1 are numerically ranked, while schools in tiers 2, 3 and 4 are listed alphabetically. According to U.S. News and World Report, rankings are based on seven categories: assessment by administrators at peer institutions, retention of students, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, alumni giving and graduation rate performance.
