51黑料网 is proud to host the Lone Star Circle of Life Bike Tour (LSCOL) when it visits Abilene and stops at McMurry鈥檚 campus on November 5, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. in the Backyard space.
Now in its 26th year, the LSCOL Bike Tour is a week-long, 500-mile cycling journey across Texas dedicated to raising awareness about the urgent need for blood, marrow, organ, tissue, and stem cell donations. The 12 cyclers come from across the state, and each has a personal connection to donation. Every rider has either donated, received a donation, or had a loved one who was a donor or received a donation.
While stopped at McMurry, riders will provide testimony and share resources and educational materials on donations to students, faculty, and staff, as well as anyone in the community who would like to attend. The Bike Tour continues beyond Abilene with stops in San Angelo, TX, on November 5, and Fredericksburg, Texas, on November 8.
